There are a wide variety of resources available for designing web pages. There were several used in designing these pages. The starting point should probably be a basic HyperText Markup Language (HTML) intoduction. The National Center for Supercomputing Application (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has extensive information about HTML, including a basic HTML primer.

Perl was used to handle the forms output from the online registration. The information given by Brian Exelbierd in his tutorial was extremely useful in setting up the Perl files. In addition, his e-mail example was helpful in allowing the web based enrolling and sign-off of the listserver without using the mailto flags. The Perl information provided by Meng Weng Wong was also very helpful. Finally, the cgi-lib Perl subroutines written by Steven Brenner were extremely useful in handling the output from forms in Perl.

Thanks also to the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska for providing the GISAB-L listserver service.
